Here we go!!! 🔑🔮🦋 Upon completion of the following task, please write: "Day 1 Done" in your journal. No more writing is necessary today. *Day 1 will be due by 11:59pm in your respective time zone. It is highly recommend to do the meditation and the task at the beginning of the day, if possible. It changes the course of the day! *Task* In your new notebook, make a list of 50 people that have influenced your life. They can be both living and already departed people, your relatives, friends, and celebrities, writers and personalities whom you do not necessarily know personally. Everyone who has influenced you, and contributed to your growth & development. The list must have at least 50 names. In the process of making a list, think about why you chose the person. What has changed in your life for the better? Move calmly and thoughtfully. Remember the best things about each person in the list and what they bring into your life. Trust in the process! You may put the phone in airplane mode at this time so that no one will interfere with you. Your list may be more than 50 people. But not less! *Day 1 Phrase*: *Today I behold the abundance that surrounds me* This should also be written in your notebook and remembered throughout the day as often as possible. *Meditation* The meditation (found in the audio following) can be done before or after the task. It's up to you! This is the Mantra you will repeat during meditation: So Ham So Hum DAY 1 RECAP: 1. Meditation: Listen to the audio. Repeat the mantra. 2. Write the phrase of the day in your notebook: "Today I behold all the abundance that surrounds me." (Remember it during the day) 3. Complete the assignment in a notebook - make a list of 50 people who have influenced your development. 4. Complete Day 1 by 11:59pm. May abundance of all forms flow to you with ease! 🔑🔮🦋

A few weeks ago, a friend of mine texted me and asked if I wanted to participate in a meditation challenge. I thought, "Ooo! This is a great opportunity. It's the first week of shelter in place due to COVID-19, and I certainly have the time to commit to it!" I must admit that this was not the first opportunity I had to participate in the challenge. Another friend extended a similar invitation a few months prior, but I politely declined. I felt blocked by fear. My thoughts were mostly negative- "I'm not ready. I'm not good at meditation. This will be too hard for me. My thinking brain doesn't turn off…I've tried. Maybe I’ll try some other time." Meditation has always interested me but after a few scattered, failed attempts, I had not returned to the practice in quite some time. This time felt different, almost like divine timing as I was participating in a course on abundance (Shift from a Scarcity to an Abundance Mindset by Sah D'Simone). I was actively exploring meditation again with more comfort than before. This time I felt confident to say, "Yes, I'd love to do the challenge. Thank you for inviting me!" Off we went! It was a beautiful 21 days filled with spiritual growth, identifying and challenging my blocks head on, dedication and commitment, and being gentle with myself. I invite you to participate in the meditation challenge! Follow along, share it with your loved ones, and experience the many benefits meditation has to offer for your body, mind, and spirit. (Note: This is the information as it was presented to me from my group leader and so forth.) "This is Deepak Chopra's 21 Days of Abundance Meditation Program. The exercises are powerful, and exactly what one might naturally do in order to create what they want. Deepak breaks it down in the simple way only he can! This program is meant to support you in cultivating the habit of abundance. Likewise, it will be intentional, powerful, and prosperous! I am only a conduit of information and intentions as prescribed by Deepak Chopra’s program. The tasks are shared exactly as provided by the program. The goal is to get to know yourself better, change/clarify beliefs and attitudes. As you may already know, studies show it takes 21 days to form a new habit. TIME COMMITMENT: -10 minutes for the meditation at a convenient time -15-30 minutes to complete the task of the day. Participating in this practice will also support you in realizing your blocks, fears and limiting beliefs in the area of abundance. As we realize these blocks, we can then actively work to heal them by opening up an infinite source of abundance. *Day 0 Phrase:*
“Starting today, I constantly attract abundance with my thoughts” I recommend writing the phrase in a notebook and return to it several times, the more the better. Mahatma Gandhi taught us to remember our thoughts generate words, words generate actions, actions generate habits, habits generate character, and character breeds destiny. That's all for today. Tomorrow we start 21 Days of Abundance! Thank you for your open heart and commitment. Namaste. |
